Euro Trip Favs (1)

In November 2006 me and my family went on a trip to Europe. To be more precise, we travelled to London (England), and Paris (France). We just went to 2 cities because we've never gone to those countries before, and, believe me, if you are going to Europe for the first time, 2 weeks is nothing. All the history, monuments, buildings, views, etc. are to die for.

Here is one of my favorite pictures that I took of the Eiffel Tower. We went there two times, because the first time we passed by, the weather was so bad that we couldn't got to the top of the tower. In my opinion, this picture is beautiful. Take in account that the camera I used is anything but professional...

The second Picture I want to show you is from London. I really do not know if this is the "London Bridge" the pop singer Fergie talks about in her famous song, but there's no doubt how the lightning plays a wonderful role in decoration.

I loved London, but Paris has so beautiful views, that I definitely took most of my "artistic pictures" there. This next photo was taken by the auto-shot (I do not know the name of that function of the cameras). I just put the camera on one of the steps of the stair, gathered my family together, and... that was it.

Last but not least, this picture was EXTREMELLY SPONTANEOUS. In this image my sister is modeling and my mom is... who knows what was she doing in the background, but it's very funny! Every time I see this photograph I cannot do other thing than laugh!

Thanks for stopping by....

GenteDeMontanha.com

In order to inaugurate this blog with the first photographs I had to decide where to start from. An what better than start from nothing; from zero... From showing you pictures on where one can sit in the grass/snow and don't admire any other thing than our beautiful world.

At the same time, let me introduce to you a website full of simple but artistic photographs. The site is called Gentedemontanha.com, and according to the spelling of the website, it's a Brazilian (or at least Portuguese) website. Here you will find hundreds of photos of mountain views from different nations.

Today I decided to show you some of those files that I like to use as a desktop background.

Please... enjoy.

This picture was taken in the Italian Alps. What I like most of this image is the peace represented by the standing man in the middle of nothing.

This lake is called Laguna Amarga, it is located in Chile. What a nice mirror, there's no need of chemicals in order to create an imitation... nature does it by itself.

This last picture was taken in a valley located in the limit between Chile and Argentina, it is actually in the Argentinian side of "La Cordillera de los Andes."

Pick Pack Pock

Yes!... My first post in this blog.

In this first blog I would like to, first, mention one of the reasons of the creation of this blog. I am taking a class at FIU called Visual Design. It is a fully online course, on where we actually have lots of fun, by doing assignments related to art, design and creativity.

Well, one of those many assignments is to create your own blog. I do have my own personal Blog (hhtp://tatens.blogspot.com), but the problem is that I write in Spanish and English (and sometimes Spanglish too), therefore I decided to create another blog.

In this blog I will post some of the pictures I've gathered from other friends, from the Internet (Google), and some that I've taken.

Please enjoy.
